Temporary Panel Pressers – 4 to 6 Week Assignment- Hawick

Who are we loking for?

Barrie Knitwear is looking for Temporary Panel Pressers to join our production team in Hawick for a 4–6 week assignment. You'll play an important role in helping produce our luxury knitwear to the highest standards. Previous pressing or manufacturing experience is beneficial, but a positive attitude, reliability and a willingness to learn are equally important.

Working Hours:

• Late Shift (Monday–Thursday): 3:00pm – 10:00pm

• Friday: 12:00pm – 4:00pm

What will you be doing in the role?

• Perform pressing and finishing of garments to meet high-quality standards.

• Conduct quality checks at each stage of the process to ensure products meet company standards.

• Maintain equipment cleanliness and perform basic troubleshooting or report issues promptly.

• Follow health and safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organised working environment.

What will you bring to the role?

• Previous experience in textile production, pressing is advantageous.

• A flexible and proactive approach to work, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

• Good communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.

• Reliability and a strong work ethic.
