We have an exciting opportunity available for a dedicated individual to join our team of Production Leaders, who play an essential role in guiding and supporting our production team. As a Production Team Leader, you will inspire, motivate, and develop team members within your designated production area. In this role, you will ensure that daily and weekly targets align with our production plans, with a strong focus on fostering growth, performance, and collaboration. You will actively identify and champion process improvements, empowering team members and increasing overall productivity.

What will you be doing?
- Team and Performance Support: Collaborate closely with the Process Manager to meet daily production goals and key performance indicators (KPIs) focusing on reducing waste, improving resource use, and minimising absences.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work alongside our Work Distributor, Planning Manager, and other team leaders to align with daily and weekly production schedules and offer support for smooth transitions during schedule changes.
- People-Focused Operations: Partner with Payroll and HR to oversee daily attendance, manage time sheets, and support team members' work-life needs.
- Adaptability and Flexibility: Support your team through any schedule adjustments, work order changes, and daily challenges, ensuring smooth operations and timely responses.
- Motivation and Skill Development: Foster a positive, flexible environment by delivering cross-training plans and helping team members build new skills, creating a stronger, more adaptable team. Liaise with HR and Training to maximize team strengths.
- Safety and Wellbeing: Create a safe, supportive workspace through regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and collaborating on health and safety improvements. Guide the team during safety drills or emergency evacuations.
- Continuous Improvement: Actively participate in cross-functional discussion with quality, planning, and production teams to streamline workflows, enhance efficiency, and elevate product quality.
- Quality and Standards: Work closely with the Quality Department to uphold and improve production quality standards. Address and resolve any quality concerns through collaborative problem-solving.
- Inventory and Production Process Management: Oversee and coordinate the Order-Driven Manufacturing (ODM) process, ensuring accurate stock levels and timely production in alignment with style priorities.
- Employee Wellbeing and Relations: With empathy and professionalism, address employee relations issues, maintaining a fair, supportive environment. Partner with HR Advisors to ensure positive outcomes on all matters of absence, discipline, or grievances.
- Encouraging Leadership: Model integrity, positive leadership, and build a collaborative culture that embraces mutual support, growth, and respect.

- Coaching and Mentorship: Use a supportive coaching approach to guide development, offer feedback, and encourage team members to grow in their roles, setting a foundation for future success.
- Proactive Problem Solving: Actively seek feedback from your team, listen to their insights, and create thoughtful, effective solutions that enhance workflow and ease challenges.
- Self-Motivated and Flexible: Approach each day with initiative and adaptability, working independently or collaboratively as needed.
- Preferred Certification: IOSH Accreditation is valued but not required.
